THE ACTION

  • Laizer was forced into only one save, but it came in sprawling fashion during the 52nd minute to deny sophomore Sydney DeRoche's slight redirection out front.
  • Sophomore Scarlett Brookes (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) took on three Falcon defenders during the 62nd minute and still found space near the right side of the box but pushed a shot wide.
  • Senior Bella DelVecchio (Saugus, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) also had a good look in the 87th minute but went wide right from 25 yards.
