WATERBURY, Conn. - The Saint Michael's College women's volleyball team lost twice on Saturday during a tri-match at Post University's Drubner Center. The Purple Knights opened the day with a 3-0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-21) setback against host Post, the only remaining undefeated team in the region, before being downed by Saint Thomas Aquinas College, 3-2 (27-25, 25-23, 18-25, 18-25, 15-11), after rallying from down two sets.

THE ACTION
- The opening set featured 16 ties and seven lead swings. The Purple Knights held a 25-24 lead following an attack error, but the Spartans scored the final three points.

- Saint Thomas Aquinas scored the first three points of the fifth set and led by as many as six points before Almeida's ace made it 14-11. Sophomore Chloe Weiting came up with the winning kill on the next point.
