THE ACTION

- Calder tied the game during a power play at 3:36 of the second frame, maneuvering near the left post before beating Plunkett from in close.

- During the final 7:40 of regulation, the Seahawks held a 24-1 lead in shot attempts, but only seven made it on net, with Plunkett stopping each and Leale recording three of his team's eight blocked shots. Senior Cade DeStefani rung the post at 15:41, and the hosts killed off 2:38 of Salve Regina power-play time, including 1:22 with a two-man advantage.
- With Egbali pulled for an extra skater for the better part of the final two minutes, the Seahawks did not put any shots on net, with Leale blocking the only bid that didn't go wide. Bloom won the final faceoff with eight ticks to go, helping the hosts salt away the final seconds.
