THE ACTION
  • The Ravens scored the game's first five points and continued to lead until first-year John Kelley (Plaistow, N.H./Kimball Union Academy) hit a tying free throw at 8:51 of the opening half, and never trailed until senior Zocko Littleton's (Albany, Ga./Osborne/Rider) jumper gave Saint Michael's a 24-22 lead at 7:01.
  • Baka (7) and Parker (5) did all the scoring in a 12-0 run that pushed the Ravens into a 39-29 lead by 1:07.
  • Down 41-31 in the waning seconds of the half, the Purple Knights scored the next 16 points, keyed by a Briscoe personal 8-0 spurt. Kelley's three-point play made it 50-43 by 15:58 of the second stanza.
  • Eight straight Parker points swung the hosts into a 51-50 edge at 13:10, but the Purple Knight bench accounted for all of the scoring during a 9-0 response, with junior TJ Henaghen (Hampden, Maine/Williston Northampton School) netting five.
  • Baka's lay-in at 5:35 capped a go-ahead 12-3 run (65-64), accounting for the first of four lead swings in a 2:49 stretch.
  • Parker buried a tying triple at 1:45 to force one final deadlock before Briscoe's putback at 1:16 gave Saint Michael's a 74-72 lead. After forcing a shot clock violation on the next possession, the Purple Knights salted away the victory when Floyd went 4-of-4 at the charity stripe in the final 24 seconds.
