THE ACTION
- Kenney's three-pointer at 14:07 of the first half sparked a tie-breaking 7-0 run (18-11) before Pace was within 19-15 on Kealey's pair of free throws at 11:13.
- Four players scored in a 12-0 Purple Knight run (31-15), which Kenney sealed with a triple at 5:47.
- After Nurse netted four points in a 7-0 spurt that cut the Saint Michael's lead to 31-22 by 3:40, the visitors ripped off 13 straight points before halftime, leading 44-22 with eight seconds left. Littleton scored five of the points while three teammates combined to shoot 6-of-6 on free throws.
- The visitors led by 20 at halftime and were up by as much as 55-34 during the second half, on Kenney's steal and fastbreak hoop at 15:02.
- Pace still trailed 63-47 with fewer than eight minutes to go and 67-55 with less than five left before using a 12-1 run to rally within 68-67 on sophomore Nathan Robertson's three with 1:09 left.
- Floyd buried two key free throws on the next possession, and junior TJ Henaghen (Hampden, Maine/Williston Northampton School) blocked Pace's tying three-point attempt with 20 seconds to go and secured the rebound. He went to the line following a flagrant foul, splitting two attempts, and Kenney was immediately fouled and made a pair at 16 seconds to push the lead to 73-67 and all but clinch the win.
