POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team capped a weekend series at No. 11 Clarkson University with a 9-0 loss on Saturday at Cheel Arena. The Golden Knights were ranked 11th in the latest national polls released by both USA Hockey and U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO).

• Lavender made 21 saves in the first period, keeping the Golden Knights off the board until after the midway point. First-year Sara Manness crashed the slot to poke in a teammate's cross with 12:29 gone to break the stalemate.
• Sophomore Greta Brezenski tallied on a one-timer from the right circle at 15:41 before first-year Jaela Carter made it 3-0 1:36 later on a shot from the left circle.
• Lavender turned away another 20 shots in the second period before denying 11 third-period bids. Clarkson scored three times in each period during the contest.
