COLCHESTER, Vt. - Two hundred eight Saint Michael's College student-athletes qualified for the Fall Dean's List, the College revealed on Tuesday, while another four managers and support staff qualified.
 
With the total of Dean's List qualifiers at 464, those with Athletics ties comprised 45.7%, well up from last school year's figures of 43.6% in the fall and 42.2% in the spring. The percentage of Athletics representatives landing on the Dean's List continues trending upward after the department garnered 38.0% in spring 2024, 37.8% in fall 2023, 34.1% in fall 2022, 30.9% in spring 2022, and 30.5% in fall 2021.
 
The College explained the standards for Dean's List qualification: "A student who has completed a minimum of 12 credits of classes with grades, not including classes with a grade P, and achieves a grade-point average of at least 3.5 in a particular semester is cited on the Dean's List for that semester. A student whose record includes the grade of I (Incomplete) in a particular semester is not eligible for inclusion on the Dean's List, either at the end of the semester or when the I is changed to a permanent letter grade.
