COLCHESTER, Vt. - Seven Saint Michael's College men's tennis players qualified for Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete status for the 2025-26 school year, it was announced on Tuesday, while the Purple Knight squad drew an ITA All-Academic Team accolade.

Simon Lundholm (Le Luc, France/CNED) and
Julius van den Broek (Bergschenhoek, The Netherlands/Wolfert Lyceum), rising senior
Viktor Boban (Zagreb, Croatia/Franjo Bucar/Frostburg State), rising juniors
Richard Lin (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) and
Jamie Macpherson (Durham, United Kingdom/Framwellgate School Durham), and rising sophomores
Ferm Koppelmans (Veghel, The Netherlands/Udens College) and
Ephraim Schramm (Sagard, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany/Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Gymnasium) were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes, necessitating recording a minimum 3.5 grade-point average during the past school year.
The Saint Michael's septet was among 31 men from the Northeast 10 Conference to land the honor, as 548 student-athletes from across NCAA Division II claimed recognition. Boban, Lin, Macpherson and van den Broek all earned their second career ITA laurels.
The Purple Knights were among four NE10 programs to garner ITA All-Academic Team honors. In all, 70 programs from Division II qualified by posting a 3.2 GPA or better for the most recent school year.
The Saint Michael's women also landed the team accolade, as the College was among 68 Division II institutions whose men and women both earned the honor for the 2025-26 school year.
David Moore recently completed his second school year as head coach of both squads at Saint Michael's.
