BOSTON, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's tennis team improved to 3-0 for the first time in 12 years by blanking 2019 NCAA Division III Tournament qualifier University of Massachusetts at Boston, 9-0, on Sunday at Boston College High School. The Purple Knights have outscored opponents 25-0 in their three matches.

- Scott put together the match of the day for the Purple Knights, rallying from a one-set deficit for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory in his debut at No. 2 to down Beacon sophomore Nandish Shah, who not only was named 2019 Little East Player of the Year but had won 12 straight singles matches during dual play, including the first 11 as his team's No. 1 player last season. Shah had lost only two sets during those 12 victories. Scott had appeared in just one singles match so far this year, at No. 3.
- Weiss (6-1, 6-3), Rosen (6-1, 6-1) and Krogh (6-0, 6-4) won in straight sets at No. 1, 4 and 6, respectively.
