NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Saint Michael's College men's tennis players took four matches from Division I Merrimack College during the Warrior Challenge on Saturday. Originally scheduled as a four-team tournament, the competition ended up including only Saint Michael's and the host Warriors.

TOURNAMENT FACTS
- Saint Michael's and Merrimack were Northeast-10 Conference counterparts for three decades until Merrimack went Division I following the 2017-18 school year.
- Saturday's competition featured eight flighted singles and four flighted doubles matches.
THE ACTION
- Boucher earned a 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 win at D singles while siding with Scott for a 9-8 (7-4) triumph at D doubles.
- Krogh went the distance at H singles, fighting off three match points before hitting a winner facing his own match point to clinch a 6-4, 3-6, 11-9 victory.
- Reinhard rallied for a 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 win at B singles, joining Boucher as starting the year 2-0 in singles.
- Junior Josh Weiss (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon) lost a 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 decision at C singles, and classmate Seb Tonini (Derry, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) fell by a similarly close 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 at F.
- Senior Michael Rosen (Andover, Mass./Andover/Saint Anselm) was defeated by a 6-4, 6-4 count in the G flight, sophomore Jackson Moser (Missouri City, Texas/Ridge Point) lost 6-1, 6-2 at A against Merrimack's regular No. 2 player last year, and first-year Stefan Barré (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Glenlawn Collegiate) fell 6-2, 6-2 at E.
- During doubles play, Moser joined first-year Ethan Watts (Vermont, Australia/Wesley College Glen Waverly) for an 8-1 loss in the A flight, as Watts made his college debut. Reinhard and Weiss lost an 8-2 decision at B, and Krogh and Rosen fell 8-3 at C.
