GAME FACTS
- The Purple Knights' fourth line of Burns-Lettiere-Mucha combined for both goals and three of four assists, as Burns and Lettiere netted the first goals of their college careers. Mucha had her first two points, both assists.

THE ACTION
- Giesbrecht broke the deadlock at 4:45 of the first period, spinning quickly at the edge of the left circle after first-year Alexandrea Bednar had batted down a clearing attempt with her hand to gain possession.
- Post doubled the lead 4:55 later, as Kubichek banked a shot from the goal line extended off of Mudrak's left pad.
- The Purple Knights drew within a goal 3:09 into the second frame, as Lettiere put home a rebound of Mucha's initial shot from the right side of the crease. Kelly also assisted.
- Storm reestablished the two-goal lead at 14:21, banking a shot from behind the net off of the netminder.
- Saint Michael's again made it a one-goal affair 2:41 into the third period, with Smith stopping initial shots by Mucha and Lettiere before Burns pushed a third bid across from up close.
- The Purple Knights nearly killed a late penalty, but Browning created the final margin at 14:08, with three seconds left on a power play, by slipping a shot from the slot between the left post and Mudrak's blocker.
