- The Purple Knights utilized 11 saves by White and three blocks by Purple Knight skaters, including two by Harrison, to nearly blank the Pioneers in the opening period, yielding the only goal at 18:31, with Ocel tallying.
- White made a trio of stops to help kill off a Sacred Heart power play early in the second stanza.
- Sophomore Emma Kelly (Dorchester, Mass./Boston Latin School) had a pair of shots saved by Sanchez during 4-on-4 play around the 14-minute mark, and Saracco was denied at 15:47.
