THE ACTION
- Ruiz scored 1:59 into the contest, going five-hole on a shot from above the right circle. Langbacka assisted.
- The Purple Knights made it 2-0 at 5:58, as Burns skated 1-on-1 into the slot and had an initial shot blocked by sophomore Noël Neumann but grabbed the rebound and scored. Ruiz and Kennard assisted.
- Storm got Post on the board with 9:29 gone, picking the upper left corner from the slot.
- Leys reestablished the two-goal lead at 16:41, blocking a shot at the blue line before racing in alone on Daly, ultimately deking the netminder and finishing on her backhand.
- White made back-to-back saves off of one-timers in the slot during a Post power play around the six-minute mark of the second period to keep her team up 3-1.
- In the final minute, Leys carried from her own end all the way behind the Post net before sending a pass out front for Lettiere, who finished into the far upper corner from out front at 17.1 seconds.
- Harrison iced the victory with a shorthanded goal 7:41 into the third period, picking an Eagle's pocket at the Purple Knight blue line before heading in on a breakaway, finishing to Daly's five-hole.
