THE ACTION
- Saint Michael's scored a pair of early goals for the first of two two-goal leads in the opening period. Langbacka's stretch pass found Saracco, who made a nice move in the right circle before going over Ostrander's left shoulder 3:31 into the game. Just 39 seconds later, Zapata poked a loose puck to Hoops, who carried the length of the ice before firing from the left hash mark just inside the left post to make it 2-0.
- First-year Mikayla Kelley cut the lead in half at 14:58, knocking in a rebound, but Saracco cashed in a power-play goal with 16:18 gone, pushing in a loose puck at the left post after Burns' one-timer from the slot off of Hoops' entry pass had been stopped.
- The Ravens scored the first of three straight power-play goals with 18 seconds remaining, as Massaro's third effort out front made it 3-2 heading into the first intermission.
- Massaro's second attempt near the right post tied the game 1:33 into the second frame, and graduate student Katerina Dajia scored from the point at 6:43.
- Franklin Pierce added three more goals in the stanza before scoring twice in the third period, as two of its final three goals came shorthanded.
