THE ACTION
- Neither team scored until combining for a flurry of five goals in a 5:13 span late in the first period.
- Howell and McCann tallied twice within three seconds to make it 2-0 by 6:28 before Revak scored at 3:13.
- Collins converted junior Alex Chirgwin's (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) feed at 2:17, and Katavolos scored 59 seconds later off of a Collins pass. Saint Michael's leveled the score 36 seconds into the second period when Collins potted a man-up goal off of Katavolos' crossing pass.
- Chestnut Hill used a 6-1 run that spanned halftime to take control. McCann and Smith netted a pair apiece in that time, and the Griffins led 9-4 on Shultz's goal 11 seconds into the third stanza.
