WORCESTER, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team lost to Assumption University, 14-11, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play at Brian Kelly Stadium. The Purple Knights were fifth in this week's New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) poll, while the Greyhounds received votes.

• The teams combined for six first-period goals, as Katavolos tied the game, 2-2, with 2:13 left before Simonson converted Collins' feed 1:05 later for a go-ahead man-up tally.
• Sophomore CJ Wiper scored with 29 seconds to go, forcing the third tie.
• Theriault's man-up goal pushed the Greyhounds back in front at 14:39 of the second stanza, but Katavolos struck for the tying extra-man marker at 10:35.
