Established in 2016 by Saint Michael's women's ice hockey alumna and long-time Purple Knight coach
Meghan Sweezey '10, Girls 4 Hockey was created to foster continued growth of the women's game by giving female players of all ages and levels the opportunity to develop their skills and learn from an experienced all-female coaching staff. Through skill-focused drills, small area games, and individualized instruction, players improve the core four skills needed for on-ice success and gain confidence both on and off the ice. While G4H programming generally focuses on girls and women, it also supports and creates initiatives that help grow the game for all.
