Two School Records Fall, Swimming & Diving Sweeps to North Country Invitational Titles

POTSDAM, N.Y. - Senior Rafael Kowal (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh/Alfred State) and junior Hunter Daily (Amherst, N.H./Souhegan) both broke program records to highlight the Saint Michael's College men's and women's swimming & diving teams' triumphs among five schools when the State University of New York at Potsdam's two-day North Country Invitational concluded on Saturday at Maxcy Hall Pool.

NORTH COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
NOTES
  • The women scored 707.5 points to comfortably outdistance second-place Clarkson University (378). The Purple Knights won their eighth mid-season championship since 2014-15, extending their streak to eight consecutive top-two performances at the North Country Invitational.
  • The Saint Michael's men won despite capturing only five of 19 events, as the Purple and Gold utilized its depth to post 33 top-five finishes.
