POTSDAM, N.Y. - Senior
Rafael Kowal (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh/Alfred State) tied a school record for career individual wins and
Eileen Hall became the winningest head coach in the history of the Saint Michael's College men's swimming & diving program as the men and women swept the State University of New York at Potsdam on Saturday in Maxcy Hall Pool. The men claimed a 195-22 victory, tying a school record with a seventh triumph for the third straight season, and the women nabbed a 174-47 win.
Kowal pushed his career solo wins total to 60 in just three years with the squad, matching
Connor Hopkins' '20 school mark. Hall earned her 49th victory guiding the men's team, breaking a tie with mentor
Jim Donoghue '72. Hall already owned the women's program wins standard, a figure she extended to 76 on Saturday.
