Baseball Swept in Twinbill at Shippensburg, Loses Nightcap 7-6

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team was swept in a doubleheader by Shippensburg University, 17-4 in seven innings and 7-6 in eight innings, on Saturday at Fairchild Field.

  • The Raiders plated a run on a sac fly in the home half before going ahead with a three-run third, with junior Ty Sherman's two-out, two-run single the key blow.
  • Cavossa singled home a run before Kinsella walked with the bases loaded with two down in the fourth to draw Saint Michael's even.

  • Kolifrath singled home Pattison in the first inning before Cavossa scored on a double play to make it 2-0.
