Margaret Montplaisir (Portsmouth, N.H./Portsmouth) was named Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Montplaisir averaged 25.5 points in 30.5 minutes off the bench during a 2-0 week, adding 4.0 rebounds. She shot 72.7% overall, including 10-for-16 (62.5%) from three-point range, and hit all nine free throw tries. Montplaisir scored 31 points on 10-of-13 shooting, including 6-for-9 from deep, in a 97-41 win against Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday, coming within five points of the school's individual scoring record. She turned in 20 points, including 18 in the first half, of a 77-68 win over Pace University on Saturday. She had six rebounds and shot 4-of-7 from three in that contest.

Montplaisir is ninth in the NE10 with a team-leading 13.7 points per game, all as a reserve. She leads the league in made three-pointers per game (2.5) and is fourth in three-point shooting (39.9%) and ninth in overall shooting (45.2%). Montplaisir stands 20th in the nation in three-point shooting and 29th in made threes per contest. With 57 triples, she is one short of the program's season top 10. She shoots 75.9% on free throws and adds 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal.

At 12-11 overall and 7-8 in the NE10, the Purple Knights are in a three-way tie for fifth place in a league that takes its top seven into the postseason. Saint Michael's has three regular-season games remaining. It hosts American International College, which is tied for third, on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
