COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey May graduate
Annika Lavender (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata) and rising senior
Maddie Quinn (Chicago, Ill./Team Illinois AAA) were named among 31 New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Student-Athletes of the Year for posting a 4.0 grade-point average in both semesters of the 2025-26 school year.

Lavender and Quinn both earned the accolade for the third time while headlining a group of 19 Purple Knights who qualified for NEWHA All-Academic, each of whom recorded at least a 3.0 GPA in each semester this past school year. In all, 174 student-athletes from around the league were recognized. This marks the 12th time since 2012-13 that at least 11 Purple Knights earned conference all-academic laurels. Anna Jerylo (Stillwater, Minn./Gentry Academy) all claimed their third NEWHA All-Academic nods. May graduate

Naomi Tink (Birmingham, Mich./Bishop Kearney Selects 19U AAA), and rising juniors
McKenna Dans (Marshfield, Mass./Lovell Academy),
Audrey Hetman (Gurnee, Ill./Milwaukee Jr. Admirals),
Alicia McDonald (Clearwater, Fla./East Ottawa Junior Stars U22 AA) and
Anna Nelson (Norwood, N.Y./Middlesex Black Bears) were recognized for the second time each.
