SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Saint Michael's women's ice hockey (1-5-1, 1-4-1 ECAC East) dropped its second straight game, falling 6-0 to Saint Anselm at Cairns Arena on Saturday. Senior goalie Alysia Goldman (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Hebron Academy) made 26 saves in 45 minutes of play in the loss.

Senior Alexa Hingston (Charlestown, Mass./Austin Preparatory Acad.) and junior Aly Zappen (Huntington Beach, Calif./Edison) scored two goals apiece for the Hawks, with senior Sarah Ellins (Greeley, Colo./University of Vermont) earning the game-winner on a power play in the 7th minute of the second period.

Sophomore goalie Meghan Grant (Melrose, Mass./Cushing Acad.) earned her first win of the season and made 12 stops in net for Saint Anselm.

The Purple Knights return to action on Dec. 3 at Sacred Heart at 7 p.m.
