WORCESTER, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team (2-12-1, 1-6-1 ECAC East) suffered its sixth straight loss on Saturday, 7-1, at the College of the Holy Cross in conference action.

Sophomore Allison Graf (Long Lake, Minn./Minnesota Thoroughbreds) scored her fourth goal of the season in the loss, assisted by junior Kelly McDonald (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington). Senior Alysia Goldman (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Hebron Academy) stopped 40 shots in the setback.

For Holy Cross (10-5-0, 7-2-0 ECAC East), Stacey Hochkins scored two goals and added an assist, while Devon Ball and Rebecca O'Quinn recorded a goal and an assist apiece. Jocelyn Kratchmer handed out three assists in the victory, while Lindsay Atkinson turned aside 23 shots.

The Crusaders scored two goals in a 50-second span midway through the first period to lead 2-0 after one period of play. Holy Cross took a 3-0 lead 5:28 into the second period, but Graf countered just 39 seconds later, cutting Saint Michael's deficit to 3-1. The Crusaders, however, scored two more goals before the second period came to an end, and sealed the victory with a pair of scores in the third period.

Saint Michael's returns to action on Friday, hosting nationally-ranked Norwich University at 7 p.m. at Cairns Arena in South Burlington.
