- Early in the 19th minute, junior Veronica Marques drilled a shot from inside the box that Vallatini dove toward the right post to deny.
- Saint Michael's earned a free kick in the 72nd minute, which senior Alex Matteo (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) had blocked, and classmate Sarah Williams (Bronx, N.Y./The Ursuline School) pushed a follow-up bid high.
- Vallatini kept it scoreless soon thereafter, stopping senior Bruna Tavares' point-blank drive in the 75th minute.

- Saint Michael's worked a three-on-one in the 107th minute, but sophomore Kara Bassett's (New London, Conn./Saint Bernard School) try from 20 yards went wide right.
- A dangerous Raven cross in the 109th minute with two players crashing the net went untouched, and Vallatini made another spectacular save with 46 seconds to go, tipping away Magerman's bid ticketed for the upper right corner. That led to a quick corner, but not further shots went on net.
