Adelphi was ranked seventh in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region poll.

- In the first minute of action, first-year Rileigh Cinquegrano's (North Andover, Mass./North Andover) shot was blocked but rolled to junior Melanie Roberge (Chester, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) for another shot that was also blocked by the defense.
- In the 10th minute, a shot by senior Sabrina Blaskovic was pushed away by Vallatini, leading to a corner kick that yielded no bids.
- A harried sequence during the 87th minute saw junior Alexsis Weiser have a shot saved before she grabbed the rebound and sent it wide, and just 20 seconds later she rung the post.
- In the 88th minute, Vallatini made a save and then quickly saved a second shot to keep the game scoreless at the end of the second half.
- The Purple Knights sent in a free kick in the 92nd minute that found the head of senior Bridie McNamara (Harvard, Mass./The Bromfield School), but the ball went just above the crossbar.
- In the 104th minute, Weiser scored a goal that was called back due to the play being offside.
