  • Thompson picked up the ball at midfield in the 41st minute and ran through two defenders into the 18-yard box, where her shot found the back of the net to give the Skyhawks a 1-0 lead.
  • With two and half minutes left in the half, senior Elizabeth Nerger's shot almost slipped under the crossbar if not for a jumping Vallatini.

  • In the 76th minute, MacNeil dribbled the ball through a defender and crossed from the left side of the field to the front of the net for a tap-in goal by Giambanco.
  • Just a minute and a half later, junior Alex Giardina had a run toward the goal, but Vallatini came sliding out of her net to cut off the angle and stop the chip shot from going in.
  • Henry took advantage of a free kick 20 yards from the net by shooting over the wall and beating a diving Vallatini for the third goal at 87:51.
