- The Sharks scored a power-play goal with 6:26 gone in the first period after a shot by first-year Morgan Schauer was saved by Simons, but the rebound was loose in front of the net and Meyers tapped the puck in.
- LIU scored a second power-play goal 7:36 into the second period on a shot by Bergström from the blue line that hit a group of players in front of the net, but Umpherville found the loose puck and put it past Simons.
- The Purple Knights found the back of the net with 15:21 gone on a power play when Kelly passed the puck to the right of the net for Wiley, whose shot was saved by Bailey, but Saracco was there to hit in the rebound.
- The Sharks extended the lead 2:56 later on a power-play goal by Meyers after hitting home another rebound goal after a shot by first-year Lauren Spino from the blue line.
- Saint Michael's cut it to 3-2 by scoring 30 seconds into the third period on a power play after Monbouquette passed the puck to Gervais, who skated to the front of the net and sent a pass that Kennard tipped over Bailey.
- The Sharks scored another power-play goal with 3:49 gone after a shot by Johnsson was tipped in front by af Bjur past Simons.
