Box Score 2 RINDGE, N.H. - Saint Michael's College baseball juniors Mitchell Goulet (North Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) and Sebastian Oetterer (Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips) and sophomore Ulysses Luciano (Bronx, N.Y./Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy) all hit home runs as the Purple Knights were swept by nationally-regarded Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday during a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader at Pappas Field.
The Ravens, who received votes toward last week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) national poll while sitting third in this week's NCBWA East Region rankings, nabbed 30-8 and 15-0 wins, with the second contest a seven-inning affair.

THE ACTION
- Ozuna's two-out RBI double plated the Ravens' first run in the opening inning, with the Purple Knights catching a pair of runners trying to steal in the frame. Rodríguez first got Battipaglia going to third with a 1-5 caught stealing before Ozuna was caught coming home from third with runners on the corners.
- Junior Randy Flores and Battipaglia both walked with the bases loaded in the second before the Purple Knights brought the tying run to the plate in the top of the fourth, as Luciano singled and Moran was plunked with two out. However, the final batter struck out.
- Franklin Pierce scored 13 runs on 12 hits in the home half, when Patane had six RBI, including a grand slam.
- Saint Michael's plated four runs in the sixth, as Luciano slugged a two-run home run before Dushney and Lanthier both walked with the bases loaded and two down.
- Oetterer swatted a two-run homer in the seventh before Moran came around on a wild pitch.
- Goulet's leadoff homer, his third dinger of the spring, kicked off the eighth.

THE ACTION
- Ozuna's RBI fielder's choice in the first inning accounted for the lone run in the opening two frames.
- Flores and Ozuna both had two RBI in a five-run third.
- Ozuna knocked a two-run triple in a four-run fourth before Battipaglia, Ozuna and senior Dylan Jones all homered between the fifth and sixth frames.
- The Purple Knights loaded the bases with two down in the sixth, as Cianciolo and Luciano singled consecutively before Goulet was hit by a pitch, but all three were stranded.
- In the seventh, Lanthier walked and stole second before first-year Nate Rogers (Portland, Maine/Cheverus) walked with one down, but the final two hitters flew out to center field.
