THE ACTION
- Saint Michael's altered its lineup for the match, playing without the services of first-year Sergio Barroso (Madrid, Spain/Colegio Montpellier), the Purple Knights' regular No. 3 singles player and Boucher's normal partner at No. 2 doubles. Rosen, the regular at No. 5 singles, was only available for doubles.
- Moser and Rosen claimed a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles before Boucher and Krogh clinched the point with a 6-1 win in the third spot. Tonini and Weiss completed the sweep by moving up to No. 2 and landing a 6-4 win.
- Weiss began singles with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 2 before Barré took a 6-2, 6-3 decision in the fourth spot for his first career win playing higher than No. 6. Boucher clinched the match behind a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 3, rising higher than No. 4 for the first time in seven outings.
- Moser finished off a 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 win at No. 1, completing a startling comeback after trailing 5-4 and 40-0 in the third set. Tonini secured a 6-1, 6-3 win in the fifth spot, and Krogh capped the sweep by a 6-1, 6-0 count at No. 6 in his first NE10 singles appearance since Feb. 19, 2020.
