• In the second spot, Larsen and Ricaurte captured a 7-6 (7-2) decision.
• Ricaurte (6-0, 6-2) and Larsen (6-2, 6-2) kicked off singles play with straight-set victories at No. 6 and 2, respectively, giving the visitors a 2-1 edge.
• Saint Anselm went back in front when Aldrete (6-2, 6-4) and junior Emma Gredenhag (Jacksonville, Fla./Bishop Kenny) (6-4, 6-2) were downed in the No. 5 and 3 spots, respectively.
• Sophomore Lucy McPherson (Vancouver, British Columbia/Magee Secondary School) suffered defeat in a lengthy 6-2, 0-6, 6-4 contest at No. 1 for the Hawks' clinching fourth point.
• Xu rallied from a set down to win at No. 4 in a third-set super-tiebreaker, 2-6, 7-5, 11-9.
