Regan Kelso (Fairless Hills, Pa./Archbishop Wood) was named Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week while sophomore back
Julia Palmese (Berlin, Conn./Berlin) repeated as Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Sept. 21.

Kelso scored the first two goals in a 3-0 victory over the College of Staten Island on Wednesday before the Purple Knights played to a scoreless tie with regionally-ranked Bentley University on Saturday. Kelso, who has netted all three of her goals in the past three games, is tied for fifth in the NE10 in goals and is tied for first in game-winning strikes (2).

Palmese anchored a defense that yielded only three shots, and just two on goal, during a pair of shutouts. She appeared in 147 of 180 minutes and helped the Purple Knights extend their shutout streak to 517:30.

The Purple and Gold, which received votes toward last week's United Soccer Coaches national poll and was fifth in the East Region rankings, is 6-0-1 overall and 0-0-1 in NE10 play. Saint Michael's hosts regionally-ranked Saint Anselm College, which was 10th in last week's East poll, on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
