Evan Plunkett (Charlotte, N.C./Holderness School) was named Northeast 10 Conference Goalie of the Week and first-year
Colin Walsh (East Greenwich, R.I./Saint George's School) landed NE10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Jan. 4. Plunkett claimed his second top goalie accolade of the winter.

Plunkett made 27 saves in a 6-1 win over Rivier University on Friday, keeping the Raiders off the board until 1:28 of the third period. He helped keep Rivier scoreless on three power plays. Plunkett, who already holds the school record for career shutouts (5) and is one win short of the program's career top 10 in victories, leads the NE10 in goals-against average (1.66) and save percentage (.953).

Walsh handed out three assists and finished +3 during a weekend sweep of Rivier. In a 6-1 win on Friday, he lent the primary assist on the game's third goal at 2:21 of the second period before dishing another primary helper 2:36 into the third. Walsh was +2 and added two blocks. In a 6-2 victory on Saturday, he notched one assist. For the season, Walsh owns two goals, three helpers, nine blocked shots and a +3 rating in 13 contests

Now 7-4-3 overall and 4-2-2 in league play, the Purple Knights visit Wesleyan University on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
