SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's soccer team (7-4-2, 4-3-2 Northeast-10 Conference) earned its second straight league win on Saturday, edging American International College, 1-0.

Senior Ryan Gannon (Colchester, Conn./Bacon Academy (CCSU)) scored in the 80th minute to lift the Purple Knights, off of an assist from freshman Anthony Stanley (La Ceiba, Honduras/Santa Teresa Bilingual School (Saint Johnsbury Academy)). Sophomore Logan Kingman (New Bern, N.C./New Bern) turned aside nine shots for his fifth shutout of the season.

For AIC (6-7-1, 4-5-1 NE-10), James Taber recorded six saves.

AIC held a 20-13 edge in shots, and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.  

Saint Michael's returns to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. contest at nationally-ranked Merrimack College.
