Box Score 2 MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team lost on a walk-off hit for the second straight day while being swept by Saint Anselm College, 2-1 and 13-6, during a Northeast-10 Conference twinbill on Saturday in Sullivan Park. The opening contest was a seven-inning affair.

THE ACTION
- Pierro hit a solo home run with two down in the first inning for the only run of the game until the seventh inning despite the teams traded scoring chances throughout.
- Saint Michael's put one runner in scoring position during every inning, including as Moran walked and reached third on an error in the second but was put out trying to score on a fly ball.
- Sevigny beat out an infield single to start the third, moved to second on a sac bunt and reached third on a fly ball but remained there.
- Cianciolo singled, moved to second on an error and stole third in the fourth but was left there.
- First-year Andrew Lanthier (Orwell, Vt./Fair Haven Union) was hit by a pitch in the fifth before moving 90 feet on Sevigny's sac bunt and 90 more on a groundout but moved no further.
- Meanwhile, Mendez left two Hawks in scoring position in the second thanks to a strikeout and a fly ball, and two more were stranded in the fourth thanks to a punch out.

- In the home half, Mendez retired the final two batters before Baker doubled with two down. After an intentional walk, junior Matt Collins singled to left field, bringing home Baker for the walk-off win.

THE ACTION
- Maurice hit a two-run home run in the first inning.
- The teams traded one run apiece in the second, with Dushney's single scoring Moran before an unearned run scored in the home half.
- Saint Michael's tied the game in the third, with Sevigny's first college hit - a single to center - scoring Moran before first-year Justin Garcia (Saint Petersburg, Fla./Dixie Hollins) doubled, with Sevigny scoring on an error on the play.
