COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse first-year Chris Davis (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) was Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, March 8.
 
Davis scored five goals while scooping two ground balls during a 17-5 win over D'Youville University on Sunday. It was his third consecutive hat trick. Davis is tied for fifth in the NE10 in goals (13) and tied for ninth in points (16) while adding 14 ground balls.
 
Off to a school-record 4-0 start for the second straight year, the Purple Knights were ranked 20th in this week's USA Lacrosse national poll. They visit two-time defending national champion Adelphi University on Sunday at 1 p.m. to open NE10 play.
