COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's basketball first-year Quintin Floyd (Windsor, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) was named Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, Nov. 30, claiming the accolade for the second straight week.
 
Floyd notched 17 points, three rebounds and two steals in a 78-71 win over Southern New Hampshire University last Tuesday. He shot 7-of-13 overall, including 3-for-7 from three-point range. With the Purple Knights up 72-69, Floyd buried a three-pointer with 52 seconds left before coming up with a steal on the Penmen's ensuing possession to seal the victory. For the season, Floyd leads Saint Michael's in scoring (10.8), assists (10) and steals (8) while shooting 46.8% from the floor and adding 3.0 rebounds.
 
Now 2-3, the Purple Knights open NE10 play by hosting Saint Anselm College on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
