One of the most decorated field hockey players in school annals, Andrea was a three-time NFHCA All-America selection, a three-time NE-10 All-Conference pick, a two-time ECAC All-Star, and the 2007 NE-10 Regular-Season MVP and ECAC Division II Player of the Year. One of only four three-time All-America picks in program history, she is still first at Saint Michael’s in career points (117), goals (51), game-winning goals (17) and games (75). Andrea potted a program-record 21 goals as a junior, with her 45 points two short of another standard. She added 13 more tallies as a senior, when she was selected to appear in the NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star Game. During her career, Andrea led Saint Michael’s to an NE-10 postseason bid all four years, advancing to the semifinals twice. Andrea, who also played two seasons of basketball, was honored as the College’s nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year in 2009. Since graduation, she has built a successful career as a coach. After coaching Manchester Essex (Mass.) Regional High School field hockey to three straight Cape Ann League championships, being named conference Coach of the Year each season, Andrea joined NE-10 rival Merrimack College as an assistant coach in 2013. The Warriors advanced to the NCAA Tournament semifinals during her rookie season.
