Margaret was one of the most dominant post players in Lady Knight history. She played in the most successful era of women's basketball at Saint Michael's, as the Lady Knights were 59-39 during her career. She was also a part of what many consider the greatest starting five in the program's history, taking the floor with Hall of Fame teammates Pam Batalis '85, Becky Bouchard '85, and Kim Corey '84. Margaret was the fourth woman to ever score 1,000 points at SMC, and at the time of her induction, ranks seventh on the Lady Knights' all-time scorer's list with 1,039 points. But she was even tougher on the defensive end of the floor. At the time of her graduation, she was the program's all-time leading rebounder and shot blocker. At her induction, she still owns the program's blocked shot records, and is third all-time in rebounding. She culminated her great career by being awarded the prestigious Roger Keleher Award in her senior year.
