Commonly known as the most dynamic basketball player in Saint Michael's history. A Cum Laude graduate, he is the only First Team All-American in the history of the College. Was the first Vermont Collegian to score 700 points in a season and 1,500 in a career. Voted First Team All-American by the Associated Press (the only player in the East to be named in 1965), and Second Team All-American by United Press International. Was a two-time Catholic College All-American, and was named Catholic Small College Player of the Year in 1965. Was three-time All-State and two-time All-New England. Named to the NCAA All-Regional Team, the All-Tournament Team at the National Tournament in Evansville, Indiana, and to 16 All-Opposition Teams in 1965. Set 13 College scoring records, and finished career with 1,762 points; averaging 25.2 points and 13.3 rebounds per game. A fourth-round draft pick of the Boston Celtics in 1965, his jersey, #22, has been retired from active use.
