Chris was one of the ice hockey program's greats during the very successful late 1980's, when the varsity program really established itself as a New England force. He made an immediate splash in his rookie season of 1984-85, when he finished third in scoring on a senior-laden team with 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points. He continued to be a team leader through his sophomore and junior seasons, compiling 30 points during those years. In his senior year, he formed a line with Sean Foley '88 and Brian Mullahy '90 that completely rewrote the Ice Knight record books. He finished the year second to Foley in scoring, with 18 goals and 27 assists for 45 points - and at that time he was only the third player in the program's history to register more than 40 points in a season.

The Ice Knights had an overall winning record during Chris' four-year career (45-42-1), and made their first two ECAC Tournament appearances during his tenure. He graduated ranked second on the all-time Ice Knight scoring list with 50 goals and 52 assists for 102 points. At that time, he was only the second player in the history of the program to break the 100-point plateau (following Hall of Famer Jay Bellissimo '87), and now ranks eighth all-time. He also owned six individual records at the time of graduation, and his line (with Foley and Mullahy) owned every line scoring record in the College's record book. Since graduation, Chris has built a successful sales career, and he and his wife Joanne have an 18-month-old son and reside in Newton, Mass.
