Upon her graduation, Kelly held seven season or career program records and shared four more after helping usher in an era of sustained success for women’s tennis at Saint Michael’s. She remains among the top 10 in 12 different season and career categories. Kelly finished 80-25 between singles and doubles during her career, going 40-14 in singles – including 40-13 at No. 1 – and 40-11 in doubles, all from the top position. As a rookie in 1996-97, she was 10-2 in singles despite her team going 5-6, the program’s most recent sub-.500 season as of 2014-15. By her junior year, Kelly was 27-5 between singles and doubles, siding with Mandy Puskas ’01 to win the NE-10 crown at No. 1 doubles en route to a 15-1 mark together, still the best record by a tandem in school annals. Saint Michael’s went a then-school-record 10-3, beginning a 16-year run during which it posted a double-digit win total 15 times. Kelly added 19 more victories as a senior to land an NE-10 All-Conference laurel, helping her squad win its first postseason contest ever before falling 5-4 in the semifinal round of the inaugural team-format NE-10 Tournament. The Purple Knights went 32-19 overall and 20-17 in the league during her career.
