Cynthia graduated as the all-time leading scorer and in many minds is one of the best players in women's lacrosse history at Saint Michael's, with career totals of 77 goals and 28 assists for 105 career points. She reigned as the program's all time leading scorer for a decade. What is even more amazing is that she amassed these statistics in just 39 games - that's a career average of nearly three points per game! The Knights played an independent schedule during Cynthia's era, but nevertheless posted a record of 26-13 (67% win percentage) during her career. A team captain, she graduated holding several records at the College, and still holds one of distinction - most assists in a season (17), which she posted in 1989.

Now married, Cynthia is the Director of Marketing and Operations for Consumer Reports. She has been a very loyal and active alumna, organizing events for the Fairfield/Westchester County Alumni Chapter, as well as new student sendoffs, college fairs, and alumni interviews for Admissions. Her father, Louis, is a1957 graduate of the College. She lives with her husband, Ken O'Brien, and their two sons, James and Tommy, in Carmel, N.Y.
