Noelle graduated holding 10 school records as the first true star of the program’s modern era, and is still the Purple Knights’ career home run champion (20). Noelle also completed her career first in hits (120), RBIs (75), walks (46) and fielding percentage (.984). A .319 career hitter, she was named to the NE-10 All-Conference first team in 2003 – a first for a member of her program – thanks to hitting .431, while her .716 slugging percentage was the team’s best since 1980. She also set school records with 44 hits, seven home runs and 31 RBIs. In 2004 she was named to the all-league third team twice, at both the catcher and DP positions. Noelle tied her own season home runs mark, earned a record 25 walks, tied the doubles record (9) and accumulated the highest on-base percentage (.504) by a Purple Knight since 1978. Noelle swatted five more home runs as a senior, when she served as a captain. After Saint Michael’s went a combined 14-59-1 in her first two years, Noelle aided the team’s 21-17 showing in 2004 for what proved to be the first 20-win spring in program history. In her senior year, the Purple Knights were 25-16 and advanced to the semifinal round of the NE-10 Tournament during their first postseason appearance. Noelle was honored as a senior with the department’s Diane C. Foster ’77 Award.
