Drew is one of the top cross country runners to ever suit up for the College, and is the lone Saint Michael’s men’s harrier to qualify for an NCAA Championship, reaching the pinnacle of college running as a senior in 2003. He was also a two-time Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference qualifier, including placing a career-high ninth as a senior. Drew repeated that placement at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship, posting the best regionals finish in program annals, earning all-region honors, and booking a spot at nationals, becoming the first men’s or women’s runner in College history to qualify for an NCAA Championship. Drew ultimately finished 69th out of 176 runners at the national meet in Cary, North Carolina, as the seventh runner from the Northeast region to cross the finish line. As a senior captain, Drew set 8K (25:36) and 10K (31:47) school records that still stand. Drew has remained active in outdoor sports since his undergraduate years, taking 102nd at the 2007 Boston Marathon and winning the 2009 Providence Marathon. He was top 20 three times at the USA Mountain Running Championships, won the 2015 USATF New England Mountain Running Series, and placed ninth during the 2018 USATF 50km Trail Championships. Drew also owns a pair of top-eight showings at the Mount Washington Road Race.
