A talented forward during a successful era of men’s basketball in the 1990s, Brian remains second in program history in field goal percentage (57.5%) after graduating eighth in rebounds (730) and 17th in scoring (1,207). Brian helped the Purple Knights post an 83-37 mark (50-22 NE10) during his four years while qualifying for two NCAA Tournaments and winning one NE10 Tournament, NE10 regular-season championship and ECAC Tournament apiece. Brian was named NE10 Freshman of the Year as a rookie, averaging 9.1 points off the bench and helping Saint Michael’s win the ECAC Tournament. He added 9.1 points and a career-high 7.2 rebounds as a sophomore, leading the Purple Knights to a school-record-tying 23 wins, their first NE10 regular-season crown, and a spot in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Saint Michael’s was ECAC Tournament runner-up Brian’s junior year before he turned in a season to remember as a senior, when the captain averaged 14.9 points, was an NE10 All-Conference second team and ECAC All-Star second team selection, and landed NECAC Division II Male Athlete of the Year as the top male student-athlete - regardless of sport - in the region. The Purple Knights set a school record for wins (25), captured their first NE10 Tournament, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
